The Hostel has recently been completely renovated. As the Hostel is very close to the International Airport in Keflavík it is often called "the Hostel by the airport ". Njarðvík and the area around has much more to offer than easy access to the airport. A few examples of activities you can find are fishing, sea angling, whale watching, golf courses and for the ones who wish to visit museums you can among others find mariene wildlife centre and a trout and salmon museums. For birdwatchers the area offers several locations to rival the best, among them are Hafnarberg, Garðskagi, Reykjanestá og Krísuvíkurbjarg. Directions
Bus:
There are 5 daily buses to and from Reykjavík. The bus stop is only 10 minutes walk from FIT Hostel, 850 ISK per person. During the summer there are also buses to and from the Blue Lagoon.
